Primary Duties: RWMC, along with the UNMC College of Nursing-West Nebraska Division, would like to offer you an exciting opportunity to become a part of our Summer Internship Program. The program allows senior RN students the opportunity to work side by side with an assigned preceptor (an experienced RN), to appy learned theory and perform interventions based upon the nursing process. It is a 10-week, full time paid internship that runs from early June to mid-August. Students will spend one day per week doing scheduled classroom work. Interns must register for 3 credit hours with UNMC College of Nursing. Tuition reimbursement, equivalent to in-state tuition, will be based upon successful completion of the program and will be paid directly to the UNMC. Minimum Qualifications: Upon completion of the 2008-2009 academic year (after the Spring semester), you must be considered either a Level 3 or Level 4 Registered Nursing student, or be between your Junior and Senior years of an accredited registered nursing program.
