Position Status: Part Time
Primary Duties: The Food Service Assistant will prepare (deli items) garnish and serve cafe food. They are expected to follow the established standard recipes with special attention given to portion control and presentation. They also accommodate short-order requests from trayline/diet office. Other duties include restocking cafe food and supplies, providing congenial service to all customers, maintaining a sanitary, tidy cafe and dining room, and relieving cashier as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, good organizational skills, be self-motivated and be team players. Previous food service experience is helpful, but not required. We can train on-the-job! Must have ability to speak and understand English.
Schedule: Varies; No late-night hours; 3 to 4 days per week
Week/Holiday Schedule: Rotating
