Position Type: Nursing
Position Status: Full Time
Primary Duties: Must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse Program and must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska without restrictions. The Case Manager uses advanced knowledge of pathophysiology, physical and psychosocial assessment, and evidence based practice to promote achievement of desired clinical outcomes for inpatients and outpatients. The Case Manager uses the consultation process and teaching/learning theory to promote patient self-care management and achievement of desired outcomes across the continuum of care.
Minimum Qualifications: BSN preferred. Prior experience in Oncology advanced nursing practice and experience would be beneficial. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal and written communication skills in multiple relationships with a variety of cultural and social backgrounds. Ability to utilize critical thinking and problem solving skills when applying knowledge and experience to clinical situations. The ability to work in a highly emotional and stressful situation is also a great asset.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
