Primary Duties: The Food Service Assistant will prepare (deli items) garnish and serve cafe food. They also accommodate short-order requests from trayline/diet office. Other duties include restocking cafe food and supplies, providing congenial service to all customers, maintaining a sanitary, tidy cafe and dining room, and relieving cashier as needed. They will cross-train in all areas of food service, including the hot tray line, the cafe, and the dishroom.

Minimum Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, good organizational skills, be self-motivated and be team players. Previous food service experience is helpful, but not required. We can train on-the-job! Must have ability to speak and understand English.

Schedule: Varies; Less than 20 hrs/week, mainly weekends, holidays, and evenings; No late night hours

Week/Holiday Schedule: Will work weekend and holiday shifts on a regular basis
