Position Status: Full Time
Primary Duties: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nebraska with no restrictions. The RN within Imaging Services provides nursing care to patients undergoing radiology tests and procedures. They gather history and prepare for future patients, and also do follow-up calls with previous patients. Care includes, but is not limited to, conscious sedation for procedures in interventional radiology or MRI, pain management during procedures, pre-and- post-angio care, hydrations, medication reconciliation, and other general nursing duties. Patients are primarily adults, but occassionally there are children or infants.
Minimum Qualifications: BSN preferred. Candidates must be ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certified, or certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Three to five years clinical experience required. ICU/ER experience preferred. Candidates must have the ability to do computerized charting. Successful candidates will be nurses who enjoy working in a fast paced, high stress, challenging, yet rewarding, environment.
Schedule: Two 12-hour shifts per week
